Baseball Recap: East Jackson Comes Up Short

East Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 7-3 to the Franklin County Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-5 on Tuesday.

East Jackson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryse Patterson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

East Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Franklin County, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-4.

While East Jackson had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday.
