It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Allatoona had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Harris County Tigers a 10-0 shutout. The victory was familiar territory for the Buccaneers, who have now won 22 matchups in a row.

Cooper Underwood tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Anthony Planeta and Dylan Mancini did most of the damage at the plate: Planeta got on base in two of his three plate appearances with four stolen bases and one run, while Mancini went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Planeta a new career-high. Jack Reynolds was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Allatoona always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .577. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Harris County only posted an OBP of .118.

Allatoona pushed their record up to 30-3 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Harris County, their loss dropped their record down to 23-10.

Allatoona will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Tigers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
