Basketball Recap: Mira Monte Takes a Loss

Mira Monte was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 42-19 to the Golden Valley Bulldogs. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 37-18 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mira Monte's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Golden Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Mira Monte will take on Del Oro at 6:30 p.m. on January 17th. As for Golden Valley, they will face off against Arvin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
