Soccer Recap: Luella Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Luella duked it out with Forest Park on Thursday. The Luella Lions lost 5-0 to the Forest Park Panthers. The Lions have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Luella's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Forest Park, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Luella will face off against Douglass at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Luella has given up an average of 4.7 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Forest Park, they will challenge Tri-Cities at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
