Soccer Recap: King-Chavez Community Takes a Loss

King-Chavez Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mountain Empire Redhawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in December of 2024.

King-Chavez Community's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Mountain Empire, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King-Chavez Community will take on Preuss UCSD on Thursday. Mountain Empire has already played their next game (against High Tech CV), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
