Football Recap: Chisago Lakes Area Comes Up Short

Chisago Lakes Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 24-16 to the Simley Spartans. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Chisago Lakes Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Simley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chisago Lakes Area will host St. Anthony Village at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Simley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans will need to watch out since the Packers have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
