Softball Game Preview: Knippa Crushers vs. Brackett Tigers

Knippa is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Brackett an 11-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Knippa Crushers will look to defend their home field against the Brackett Tigers at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Knippa lost 17-2 to Charlotte on Tuesday.

Knippa saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazzlean Gomez, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. Those two hits gave Gomez a new career-high. Another was Sophia Suarez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Brackett's offense. They came up short against Charlotte on Friday, falling 31-0.

Brackett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Knippa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.
