Hampton dropped down to 8-6 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt a 55-27 loss at the hands of the Blackhawk Cougars. The Talbots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-13.

As for Blackhawk, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 19-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 60.6 points this season.

Blackhawk was led to victory by Aubree Hupp and Gracen Sehn. Hupp dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards, while Sehn dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Hupp's 12th in a row with at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Mia Sheesley, who posted 11 points.

Looking ahead, Hampton will take on Beaver at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Blackhawk, they will face off against Greater Latrobe at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
