Eastern's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Shawnee Renegades. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Renegades two weeks ago, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Eastern is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-9-1 record this season. As for Shawnee, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-10.

Eastern and Shawnee should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Vikings will face off against Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (32 vs. 168). Meanwhile, Shawnee (ranked 33rd) will meet Liberty (ranked 143rd) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
