The Hebron Christian Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Lambert Longhorns at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lambert's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Friday: Hebron Christian hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Lions never let East Jackson get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Kate Kennedy tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 15 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Leah Jensen was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in September of 2024. Lauren Kyranakis also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Hebron Christian hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in ten consecutive contests.
Lambert came out on top against South Forsyth last Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Longhorns were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the War Eagles.
Faith Doolen was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Doolen was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Katia Castillo, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Payton Yi, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Hebron Christian's record is now 20-1. As for Lambert, their record now sits at 11-9.
Friday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Hebron Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .473. However, it's not like Lambert struggles in that department as they've averaged .442. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
