Soccer Recap: Valdosta Comes Up Short

Valdosta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 5-0 to Richmond Hill. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Richmond Hill this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 back in February.

Valdosta's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Richmond Hill, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Valdosta has already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Brooks County on the 4th. As for Richmond Hill, they will square off against Savannah Country Day at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Savannah Country Day's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
