Amherst has gone 8-2 against Loomis recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Broncos will be playing at home against the Wolves at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Amherst has three straight wins, Loomis has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Amherst will bounce into Friday's contest after beating Broken Bow, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. The Broncos snuck past the Indians with a 39-34 victory on Tuesday.

Libby Mitchell was the offensive standout of the matchup as she posted 16 points. Kylinn Daugherty was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Loomis played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 57-16 loss at the hands of Kenesaw. The Wolves were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Loomis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Amherst, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Amherst was able to grind out a solid victory over Loomis when the teams last played back in December of 2024, winning 55-47. Do the Broncos have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
