Basketball Recap: Centre County Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Centre County Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 53-32 to the Great Commission Bears. Centre County Christian Academy was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Great Commission earlier this season, when they won 40-36.

Great Commission found their leader in freshman Alexa Hall, who went 11 of 22 en route to 26 points and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hall has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Allison Hall, who posted eight points in addition to eight rebounds and six steals.

Centre County Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Great Commission, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.

Centre County Christian Academy and Great Commission's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Centre County Christian Academy and Calvary Christian Academy (who has only given up 27.92 points per game) will meet at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Great Commission will take on Johnstown Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, a squad that's only allowed 23.55 points per game.
