Basketball Recap: Chichester Comes Up Short

Chichester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the Interboro Buccaneers. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 44-29 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Among those leading the charge was Madilyn Mea, who went 7 for 10 en route to 19 points.

Chichester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Interboro, with the win, they broke their 18-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-13.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Academy Park the next time they take the court. Interboro will head out to face Academy Park at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Chichester will host them at 6:00 p.m. on January 21st.
