It's playoff time, and Palma had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Pescadero Vikings 77-16 on Saturday. The Chieftains have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Pescadero still got an impressive performance from Quill Markegard, who posted nine points.

The victory was the sixth in a row for Palma, bringing their record for this year to 20-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points over those games. As for Pescadero, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8.

Coming up, Palma will head out to challenge Cristo Rey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Palma's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Cristo Rey's offense will have their work cut out for them. Pescadero does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
