Softball Recap: La Conner Comes Up Short

La Conner came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Darrington Loggers, falling 16-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Braves couldn't push the score so high this time.

La Conner's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Darrington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Darrington will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Muckleshoot Tribal at 4:00 p.m. La Conner will be paying especially close attention to the Loggers' game: after the Loggers face off against the Kings, they'll take on La Conner again at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
