Baseball Recap: Pulaski County Comes Up Short

If Pulaski County was feeling good fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Garrard County on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Maroons fell just short of the Somerset Briar Jumpers by a score of 5-3 on Monday. The Maroons were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Briar Jumpers earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Pulaski County's defeat dropped their record down to 19-14. As for Somerset, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-21 record this season.

As of now, neither Pulaski County nor Somerset have any future games scheduled.
