Crosby-Ironton scaled the state rankings by moving to 222 from 250 this week, the biggest jump in Great Polar - Blue. The Rangers were able to move up by beating Hinckley-Finlayson 52-14.
Moose Lake/Willow River extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin, 56-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Esko's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Eskomos feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Marc Peterson has thrown for 650 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Aaron Olson has 15 catches for 370 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Marshall takes on Two Harbors. As it stands, the Hilltoppers are in third, while the Agates are in second.
Marshall and East Central played the closest game in Great Polar - Blue this week, with Marshall eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory.
