Softball Recap: Toombs County Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. Toombs County fell 8-4 to Wheeler County. Toombs County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wheeler County apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Toombs County now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Wheeler County, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Toombs County will be playing at home against Vidalia at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheeler County, they will square off against Treutlen at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
