Bucktail played in conference for the first time on Friday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They walked away with a 47-34 win over the Montgomery Red Raiders. The Bucks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory made it two in a row for Bucktail and bumps their season record up to 3-5. As for Montgomery, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Bucktail wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 40-16 win against Columbia Montour Vo-Tech on the 8th. As for Montgomery, they will look to defend their home court on January 11th against Sullivan County at 7:30 p.m.
