Soccer Recap: Savannah Christian Comes Up Short

If Savannah Christian was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Vidalia last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Raiders fell just short of the Jenkins Warriors by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Savannah Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 228th, while Jenkins are ranked 55th).

As for Jenkins, they will face off against Bryan County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Jenkins' favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home while Bryan County have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
