Softball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 8-4 to the Warrensburg Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-7 back in September.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Warrensburg, their win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clinton will head out to square off against Nevada at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrensburg, they will venture away from home to challenge Richmond at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
