Softball Recap: Gilbert Takes a Loss

After flying high against Sumner-Fredericksburg on Saturday, Gilbert came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the Boone Toreadors by a score of 9-7 on Monday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Toreadors recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Gilbert's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Boone, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Gilbert has already played their next contest (against Nevada), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Boone also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Webster City.
