Soccer Game Preview: International vs. Drew

The International Jaguars will venture away from home to challenge the Drew Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. International is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

International is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They put the hurt on Gateway with a sharp 6-1 win on Friday. With that victory, International brought their scoring average up to 2.9 goals per game.

They hit Gateway with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nalani Arana (3), Eleanor Massillon, Sylvia Erceg-Jacobsen, and Kaia May.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Drew's offense. They came up short against The Bay School on Friday, falling 6-0.

International's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Drew, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

International got the 'W' when the teams last played last Thursday against Drew by a conclusive 5-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jaguars since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
