Softball Game Preview: North Atlanta Warriors vs. Lambert Longhorns

North Atlanta is 0-5 against Lambert since August of 2024 but things could change on Thursday. The Warriors will host the Longhorns at 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for North Atlanta's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-0 to Lambert, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

For Lambert's part, Olivia Cantarutti was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits Cantarutti has posted since back in September. Katia Castillo was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory was the third in a row for Lambert, bringing their record up to 15-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for North Atlanta, their loss dropped their record down to 7-22.
