Lassen is 9-1 against Central Valley since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Lassen will need to focus on slowing down Drason Recio, one of several Central Valley players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 122 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Another player making a difference was Aj Johnson, who rushed for 128 yards and one touchdown.
Central Valley's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Lassen, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Stephens and Johnson. Stephens just won't slow down this season and has run in 24 touchdowns while averaging 132.1 rushing yards per game. Johnson has been a dominant force too and has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 131.4 rushing yards per game.
