Softball Recap: Kingston Redskins vs. Bishop Kelley Comets

The Kingston Redskins beat the Bishop Kelley Comets 4-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Redskins.

Gracie Bridgman spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up ten Ks.

At the plate, Destry Davis and Kate Ratzlaff did most of the damage at the plate: Davis went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI, while Ratzlaff went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Kingston hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop Kelley struck out ten times.

Kingston has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record. As for Bishop Kelley, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
