After losing to Coahulla Creek the last time they met, Rockmart decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Yellowjackets had just enough and edged out the Colts 6-5. That's two games straight that the Yellowjackets have won by just one run.

The victory made it two in a row for Rockmart and bumps their season record up to 7-2. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Coahulla Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Rockmart will be playing at home against Mount Paran Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Coahulla Creek, they will challenge Ringgold at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
