Basketball Recap: Westmoor Takes a Loss

Westmoor was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by the Half Moon Bay Cougars 60-20. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Westmoor's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Half Moon Bay, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westmoor will host Mills at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Half Moon Bay, they will face off against Menlo-Atherton at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Menlo-Atherton will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Half Moon Bay surely won't give up without a fight.
