Mt. Eden had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Leadership. For Mt. Eden, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win Leadership walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Melissa Torres and Rhiana Khalik scored all three of Mt. Eden's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Mt. Eden now has a winning record of 3-2.

Coming up, Mt. Eden will venture away from home to take on Arroyo at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The match will give Mt. Eden their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Leadership, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Fremont at 4:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. This will also be Leadership's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
