Volleyball Recap: Rice Lake Extends Winning Streak to Four

Rice Lake came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Somerset Spartans by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Rice Lake to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abby Doebereiner, who had 17 assists. Doebereiner has been hot, having posted 14 or more assists the last seven times she's played.

Rice Lake's win bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Somerset, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Rice Lake wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against New Richmond on the 4th. As for Somerset, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Superior on the 4th.
