Softball Game Recap: Jefferson Yellowjackets vs. Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors

Jefferson lost against Sergeant Bluff-Luton back in June, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Ashleigh Ronk made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI.

Jefferson has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-29 record this season. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sergeant Bluff-Luton beat Jefferson by a score of 18-0 later that day.
