It was a good run, but Chamblee unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 11-1 to the Blessed Trinity Titans. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Bulldogs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Chamblee saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annabelle Ritchey, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Chamblee's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Blessed Trinity, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Looking ahead, Chamblee will head out on the road to challenge Mount Vernon at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Mustangs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Blessed Trinity, they will head out to square off against Westminster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
