Softball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall fell victim to Douglass and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 12-0. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Marshall will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Classen SAS at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Douglass, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Midwest City at 3:15 p.m. on September 5.
