Softball Recap: Marist Comes Up Short

Marist fell victim to Wesleyan and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Wolves by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for the War Eagles in their meetings with the Wolves: they've now lost four in a row.

Marist's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wesleyan, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Marist will challenge Lithonia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wesleyan, they will face off against Mount Paran Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
