It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Greendale ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Milwaukee Reagan Huskies, sneaking past 3-2. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

Greendale pushed their record up to 10-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Milwaukee Reagan, they moved to 12-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Greendale will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Pewaukee at 7:00 p.m. The Pirates' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Milwaukee Reagan, they will challenge Bradley Tech/Milwaukee Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
