Sacramento Adventist came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Mira Loma Matadors 65-16. That looming 65-16 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Capitals yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sacramento Adventist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Victoria Fowler, who went 8 of 14 on her way to 16 points along with five boards and three steals. Fowler is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gwen Rosich, who posted ten points in addition to seven boards and five steals.

Sacramento Adventist's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.8 points per game. As for Mira Loma, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Sacramento Adventist wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-45 win against Forest Lake Christian on the 10th. As for Mira Loma, they will head out to take on Encina at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
