Sequoyah had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Locust Grove Pirates. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Eagles have posted against the Pirates since September 15, 2016.

Sequoyah's victory bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Locust Grove, they moved to 13-10 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
