Softball Recap: New Bloomfield Comes Up Short

New Bloomfield couldn't beat St. Elizabeth on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the seventh inning. The Wildcats fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 6-5. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 13-0 to the Hornets when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

New Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Coming up, New Bloomfield will take on Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Elizabeth, they will face off against Vienna at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
