 Chayton Goodwin was the offensive standout of the  game as he rushed for 91 yards and one  touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.
 Another reason for the win was Goodland's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess:  Bo Weibel,  Braden Fisher,  and  Ethan Horinek, who each picked up one  sack apiece.
