Basketball Recap: Calipatria Takes a Loss

Calipatria played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Brawley Wildcats, falling 57-21. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now lost six in a row.

It was another big night for Bre Montano, who posted 24 points for Brawley. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabella Trujillo, who had 12 points.

Calipatria's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Brawley, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Calipatria nor Brawley have any future games scheduled.
