West Monona had already won 13 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it 14 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Harlan Cyclones. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in June of 2024.

West Monona's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-6. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Harlan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-20.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Monona beat the Cyclones by a score of 8-0 later that day.
