West Rusk waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Raiders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

West Rusk easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10.

Their offense was headlined by Irelind Hunt and Hannah Haffner, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Kimora Pryor and her 26 assists. Mackenzie Ressler controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

West Rusk's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Elysian Fields, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

West Rusk has already played their next contest (against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Elysian Fields, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Huntington on the 29th.
