There's no place like home for North Hills Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Mare Island Tech Academy Griffins 45-14 on Wednesday. That 31 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

Despite the loss, Mare Island Tech Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alissandra Junio posted four points in addition to ten rebounds and five blocks. Junio has become a key player for Mare Island Tech Academy: the team is 4-2 when she posts at least eight boards, but 3-4 otherwise.

The victory got North Hills Christian back to even at 5-5. As for Mare Island Tech Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-6.
