Soccer Recap: Starr's Mill Comes Up Short

Starr's Mill managed to slip by Harrison the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Panthers came up short against the Hoyas on Tuesday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Starr's Mill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 161st, while Harrison are ranked 11th).

Starr's Mill now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Harrison, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.

Coming up, Starr's Mill is taking a road trip to take on McIntosh at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. McIntosh will roll in looking for their 14th straight victory, something Starr's Mill surely won't give up without a fight. As for Harrison, they will host Johns Creek at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Harrison are on a five-game streak of home wins, Johns Creek a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
