Basketball Recap: North Clarion Comes Up Short

North Clarion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 46-35 to the Keystone Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-29 two weeks ago.

Keystone's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashlee Albright, who posted 18 points and five boards. Albright is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Isabella Brandon, who put up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists.

North Clarion's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Keystone, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

North Clarion has already played their next match (against Clarion-Limestone), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Keystone didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-61 win against Brookville on the 1st.
