Soccer Game Preview: Pacifica vs. Oxnard

The Pacifica Tritons will venture away from home to take on the Oxnard Yellowjackets at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Pacifica's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Friday, Pacifica didn't have quite enough to beat Camarillo and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Oxnard put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Channel Islands as Oxnard made off with a 5-1 victory. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by four goals or more this season.

They hit Channel Islands with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Erika Flores (3), Jennifer Salas, and Allison Ruiz.

Oxnard's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Pacifica, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-3.
