Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bloomfield walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Bernalillo Spartans 49-0. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won ten games by 41 points or more so far this season.

Wyatt Babcock threw for 48 yards and one TD. Kaleb Huchens was his top target, picking up 49 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The win (which was Bloomfield's ninth in a row) raised their record to 10-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points over those games. As for Bernalillo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

Bloomfield will face off against Taos at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bernalillo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
