Soccer Game Preview: Belmont vs. Roybal

Belmont hasn't had much luck against Roybal recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Belmont Sentinels will welcome the Roybal Titans at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Belmont is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to Robert F. Kennedy Community.

Meanwhile, Roybal entered their contest against Bernstein on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Roybal fell just short of Bernstein by a score of 4-3. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Titans came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 294th, while the Dragons are ranked 772nd).

Roybal hit Bernstein with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Soleiy Estrada, Viviana Mendoza, and Esmeralda Hernandez.

Having lost for the first time this season, Roybal fell to 6-1-1. As for Belmont, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
