Baseball Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss

Clarke Central fell victim to Hebron Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 10-0 to the Hebron Christian Lions. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Gladiators' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Clarke Central's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Hebron Christian, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clarke Central will take on Habersham Central at 5:55 p.m. on Friday. As for Hebron Christian, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hebron Christian Lions face off against Duluth Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
